You will departure from your home (US/Canadian city) to Shanghai. You will Trans international time Line, Arrival Shanghai on next day.

On arrival (5pm-6pm), a Rewards Travel China local representative will greet you at Shanghai airport and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax; you may explore or stay in to relax and order room service (at your own cost).

Morning: after your breakfast buffet and orientation. We will start our tour at the Bund, where the old British and French colonial districts, along the Bund with Victorian buildings dating back to late 1800s. The Bund is now the financial centre of China and the Pearl Tower one of the most recognized Chinese landmarks. Later we will pay a visit to the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Centre, where you can see the city’s amazing past, present and future plans.
Later afternoon we will transfer by bus to Suzhou (1 hour) also known as Oriental Venice for its exquisite canals, architecture and elegant gardens. The classical gardens of Suzhou are masterpieces of Chinese landscaping design in which art, nature and ideas are integrated perfectly to create ensembles of great beauty and peaceful harmony. The 8 major Gardens at Suzhou are combined into another UNESCO world heritage site.

Morning: after your breakfast buffet we will tour the Lingering Garden. In 1997, the garden, along with other classical gardens in Suzhou, was recorded by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The garden also stores two UNESCO Intangible World Heritage Arts; Pingtan and Guqin music.
Next stop is the Master of the Nets Garden, a classic private garden with 800 years of history. The Master of the Nets is particularly regarded among garden connoisseurs for its mastering the techniques of relative dimension, contrast, foil, sequence and depth, and borrowed scenery. Then we will visit the Suzhou silk factory where we will enjoy a fashion show and you can purchase silk clothes, bedding and other articles. We will then go on to the Suzhou research institute of silk embroidery.
After dinner, enjoy a cruise along the ancient canal from the city to the picturesque Grand Canal. (Cost of USD $25 per person) optional, but not to be missed.

After breakfast, we visit Tongli Village (0.5 hour away from Suzhou) it is known for a system of canals, it has been given the nickname "Venice of the East”. The place retains many of the features of an ancient Wu region town. Then drive to Hangzhou (2 hours). Hangzhou is a city of nature and beauty regarded as ‘Paradise on Earth’, the place of poetry, honeymoons, love stories and relaxation. Hangzhou is composed of 6 sites which together form a UNESCO heritage site. We will visit the West Lake. Enjoy the evening in West Lake. Dinner is on your own. You can elect to dine at one of the hotel restaurant(s) or there are many fine local restaurants and fast food restaurants within walking distance from the hotel (safe area).

Morning: after buffet breakfast we will go to No 1 Tea Plantation and taste the well-known Dragon Well Tea which is the best green tea in China and we will enjoy the tea ceremony. Next stop is Jing Ci Temple which dates back to 964 AD and has lots of history. Jing Ci was a monk who did not follow the rules and was somewhat of a local comedian.
Then we drive to Shanghai (3 hour). Upon arrival we visit the Shanghai museum. The attractions include enormous fine stone sculptures, bronzes, porcelain art and calligraphic works, Chinese paintings and ancient furniture. After dinner enjoy the famous Shanghai Acrobatic Show (USD $35 per person) optional, but not to be missed.

Morning: after buffet breakfast we will visit Old Downtown and classical Yu Gardens which is also a UNESCO site built 5400 years ago and is a famous ancient, private garden with Ming and Qing dynasty architecture. Owing to its ingenious zigzag design with pavilions, opera stages, chambers, towers, elegant rock sculptures, bridges, mirror lakes and moats it became an official museum of Chinese ancient architecture. Next stop is the City of God Temple Bazaar, which is composed of specialty stores, selling traditional Chinese arts and crafts, medicines and souvenirs. Next stop will be the Carpet Factory where you will see workers weaving the famous silk and wool carpets. The rest of day is free. You may enjoy some free time in Shanghai.

We will have brunch at the hotel, and then transfer to railway station to catch the train to Yichang. Train D3003, leaving Shanghai at 2:29pm, arrival Yichang at 9:33pm. Your will have experience of fast-speed Train in China. Dinner is at your own cost. After arrival, on-board the cruise and begin our deluxe and fantastic trip down the Yangtze River.

In Chongqing we will visit the Zoo and the Panda House where we will have very close views of the pandas. If the panda is happy, we could feed and take pictures with it.
After lunch we fly to Beijing (2 hours). The rest of day is free to explore and relax.

After your buffet breakfast we will explore the incredible Forbidden City a UNESCO world heritage site with its imperial palace complex where 24 emperors lived and ruled for over 500 years. When you come out of the Forbidden City you will find yourself in the famous Tiananmen Square – the biggest city central square in the world. This is a great photo opportunity.
After lunch we will visit the Summer Palace another UNESCO site where you can discover the Royal gardens, pavilions and halls in a tranquil lakeside setting. Later we will visit the Pearl City store where you will find beautiful pearls of all shapes and sizes to buy and where you can make your own bracelets and earrings.
Dinner will be served at a local restaurant called Quanjude which has over 100 years of history and well known for its traditional cuisine (Peking Duck). At night you will attend a wonderful Kung Fu show - price included in tour.

Today's marvelous itinerary includes a few must visit locations in Beijing. After your breakfast buffet, we will tour the iconic "Beijing 2008 Olympic Center"; which includes the famous Bird's Nest and Water Cube which now hosts many spectacular opening ceremonies and events. Although we will not be taking a tour inside of these buildings, it is still a magnificent architectural structure form the outside, providing a perfect photo opportunity.
Next stop is at the Bona Jade Store, one of the largest jade stores in China. They carry more than a thousand different types of jade products. With a wide selection of different shapes, sizes and colours, you would be able to find the perfect gift.
After lunch, we will proceed to the infamous Great Wall of China (Juyongguan) one of the Seven Wonders of the World! Another site recognized by the UNESCO, the Great Wall stretches for over 8,000km. We have the whole afternoon to tour and to take pictures of this marvelous site. Then we will proceed to have dinner.

After breakfast today, we will you’re the Temple of Heaven. An architectural masterpiece built between 1406-1460 AD, used by the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for ceremonies honoring the God of Harvests, making it yet another side of the UNESCO. Here, we will have the opportunity to speak with local residents whom practice daily exercise rituals of: Tai Chi, Kung Fu and dance. We will then proceed to the Hutongs, a city of cobblestone narrow roads, small, very old cottage type houses which are now prized possessions and at one time, made up the whole of Beijing. You will take a Hutong trishaw tour around the area exploring the history and culture of old Beijing and you will visit an actual Hutong house and its residents. Today’s lunch will be a variety of dumplings made with the local people and yourself.
After lunch, you will head to Wang Fu Jing Street for shopping and sight-seeing. It is a gorgeous scenic area surrounding places of historic interest and remains of old style Beijing residents, Hutongs and courtyards. This area is famous for its restaurants, street foods and shops. Your tour guide will arrange a meeting time for pick up. This is a very safe area, enjoy exploring!

Morning: after buffet breakfast you will have time to do some last minute shopping and then you will be transferred to the airport where you will catch your flight home (12 hours) and you will arrive on Monday at 7 pm. BON VOYAGE
