To start off your amazing China Tour, you will leave your departure city and fly to Beijing. Meals and snacks will be provided on the plane. 

When you arrive in Beijing, a Rewards Travel China local representative will meet and greet you at the airport. The local representative will transfer you to your hotel and the rest of the day is yours to explore and relax.

After your buffet breakfast, we will start today's tour at the incredible 【Forbidden City】, a UNESCO world heritage site. This Imperial Palace complex was home to 24 different Emperors who lived and ruled for over 500 years. After exploring the magnificent imperial palace, you will find yourself entering the infamous 【Tiananmen Square】; it is the largest city central square in the world! Remember to pack your cameras!

Our next stop will be to take a tour and explore the history and traditional culture of Beijing, the Hutong area. The first 【Hutong】 area was introduced and built in the "Yuan Dynasty" era. It is made of cobblestone narrow roads with small and very old cottage type houses; which represents what Beijing use to be and is now considered a prized possession. You will get to visit and see the inside of a Hutong house and its residents. Todays lunch will be a variety of dumplings made together by you and the local residents.

After lunch we will visit another UNESCO site, the 【Summer Palace】, where you can discover the beautiful Royal Gardens, pavilions and halls in tranquil lackside setting. In the late afternoon, we will then visit the 【Pearl City】 store where you will find different precious pearls of all shapes and sizes to purchse for yourself or as gifts.

Dinner will be served at local restaurant called 【Quanjude】, which has over 100 year's history and is famous for their traditional cuisine, the Peking Duck. Later on the night, you will attend the best Kung Fu show China has to offer

Today, you are free to explore Beijing yourself, or you can join our optional tour, the marvelous itinerary includes a few must visit locations in Beijing. After breakfast, we will tour the iconic "Beijing 2008 Olympic Center"; which includes the famous 【Bird's Next】 and 【Water Cube】 which now hosts many spectacular opening ceremonies and events. Although we will not be taking a tour inside of these buildings, it is still a magnificent architectural structure from the outside, providing a perfect photo opportunity.

Next stop is at the 【Bona Jade Store】, one of the largest jade stores in China. They carry more than a thousand different types of jade products. With a wide selection of different shapes, sizes and colours, you would be able to pick out the perfect gift.

After lunch, we will proceed to the infamous 【Great Wall of China】(Juyongguan) one of the Seven Wonders of the World! Another site recognized by the UNESCO, the Great Wall stretches for over 8,000 km. We have the whole afternoon to tour and to take pictures of this spectacular site. Next, we will proceed to dinner. .

After breakfast today, we will tour the 【Temple of Heaven】. An architectural masterpiece built between 1406-1460 AD, used by the Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for ceremonies honouring the God of Harvests, making it yet another site of the UNESCO. Here, we will have the opportunity to speak with local residents whom practice daily exercise rituals of: Tai Chi, Kung Fu and dance.

After lunch, you will head to 【Wang Fu Jing Street】 for shopping and sight-seeing. It is a gorgeous scenic area surrounding places of historic interest and remains of old style Beijing residences, Hutongs and courtyards. This area is famous for its restaurants, street food and shops. You will have the opportunity to have dinner here tonight, exploring different styles and types of street food and restaurants. Your tour guide will arrange a meeting time for pick up. This is a very safe area, enjoy exploring! In the evening, we will take flight to Xian.

 Xi’an is one of the birthplaces of the ancient civilization. During Xian’s 3,100 year development, 13 dynasties placed capitals here, just like a living history book. Xian enjoys equal fame with Athens, Cairo, and Rome as one of the four major ancient civilization capitals. Upon arrival we visit the 【Shaanxi Historical Museum】, which is a grand complex of buildings imitating the architecture style of the Tang Dynasty (618-907). It is a comprehensive museum with more than 370,000 exhibits of different times and kinds.

Next stop is 【Big Wild Goose Pagoda】(Dayan Ta), the symbol of the city. It is a well-preserved ancient tower built in 652, functioned to collect Buddhists materials that were taken from India by the Hierarch Xuanzang. He used 17 years travelling 100 countries, obtained Buddha figures, 657 kinds of sutras, and several Buddha relics. He wrote a book “Pilgrimago to the West” in Tang Dynasty, to which scholars attached great importance.【Tang Paradise】 is near by the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, it newly opened in April, 2005. The park gives a full display of the Tang Dynasty’s culture and traditions, and holds many records in Asia which includes: the biggest Tang-culture square, biggest fountain and waterscape square and the largest-scale sculptures area. Tonight, we will enjoy the special local imperial dumpling banquet dinner and magnificent [Tang Dynasty Singing & Dancing Show].

After breakfast, you are free to explore this ancient Chinese city by yourself, or you can choose to join our optional tour. We will visit 【Qin Emperor’s Mausoleum】and the 【Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum】, it is the most significant archeological excavations in 1974. Qin (d. 210 B.C.), the first unifier of China, is buried, surrounded by life-sized famous Terra Cotta Warriors, at the centre of a complex designed to mirror the urban plan of the capital. The Terra Cotta Army it rated as one of the top attractions in China; in 1987 it was enlisted in the UNESCO.

After the museum, we will continue to visit the【Artistic Ceramics Factory】, to learn about the techniques of making Tan San Cai, as well as the Terra Cotta Warriors.

After breakfast, we will transfer you to the airport to fly back to Beijing and head back home or extend your trip to other city in China.
